Towpath Park Closure

TOWPATH PARK IS CLOSED FROM MAY 12, 2025 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION. ACCESS TO THE SCHUYLKILL RIVER TRAIL CAN BE MADE AT THE FRICKS LOCK AND PARKER FORD TRAIL HEADS. 

Towpath Park Phase 1 Improvement Project is currently underway and is expected to the completed in October 2025. The improvements include a new parking lot, playground, trail system, and associated stormwater management. This work is being funded through various grants and donations secured by the Township.
