Winter Bird Walk

Join us for a bird walk cosponsored by Valley Forge Audubon Society and East Coventry Township's Parks, Recreation and Conservation Committee at Ellis Woods Park on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 7:30 a.m. The park supports a great variety of birds and has been developed by East Coventry Township with birders in mind: the “Birder’s Loop” trail features interpretive signs describing birds found in each habitat.

Our field trip will cover up to 2 miles over mostly rolling terrain, but there will be some short, steep sections of trail to navigate. The uneven earthen trails will likely be muddy and slippery in spots, so good footwear is a must. Please bring binoculars if you have them. All experience levels are welcome, including those just beginning their birding journey. Please note there is no open restroom on site.
