Ellis Woods Revolutionary War Cemetery
It is a little-known fact that East Coventry Township is home to a Revolutionary War Cemetery at 580 Ellis Woods Road. Several Revolutionary War soldiers are buried at this spot. This little hill in East Coventry Township has served as a resting place for some of George Washington's soldiers who succumbed to injuries and maladies during the winter of 1777-78.
